Hi friend,
Congrat for your new house in Pulai Indah.FYI, I am souring for house as well.Is the place safe, breakin, thief or whatever crime? Notice that your place to second links Singapore is very far( need to make a loop if I’m not wrong) as seem from map.Is it convenient to disclose your buying price (just for comparison with other areas). Please advice. Thank you so much.
James
Hi James,
Thanks a bunch! Great to hear that you’re interested in Pulai Indah’s developments. To answer your questions, I have never heard of breaks or thefts around my area, which is the cluster houses. The cluster houses are built in a triangular shaped land area which makes the houses very visible from one another. The majority of house owners are Malay. Retirees, lecturers, state officers, etc. My neighbor is a police retiree. If i’m not mistaken there are around 5-6 Singaporean houses.
FYI i work in Nusajaya. To tell you the truth yes it is quite far to 2nd link bridge. that is if you take the UTM, Taman Universiti, Skudai Highway route. But if you take the Pontian, Ulu Choh, EcoGarden route; then it is quite near. Plus it’s highway from EcoGarden upwards.
The price? all under RM250K. ;D
p/s: if you’re looking something near to Singapore, there is always Nusa Idaman & East Ledang. Nusa Idaman is priced around RM280K-RM400K & East Ledang is priced around RM800K-RM2MIL. Not forgotting Ujana executive apartments priced at RM260K above..
Hope this helps. If you need any info just let me know aight…
Hi friend,
Really thank for your info and advice. I had made a call to the property Hua Yang and glad to hear that there will be a new project phase launch on 3rd Oct in Pulai Indah. I was also told that for foreigner including Singaporean, there is a need to wait till the house is 50% completion then can proceed to the option of purchase. how true? is it company policy? BTW, I am quite interested in the Setia Eco Garden, put aside the price, kindly advice and review the property. thank you so much.
Best regards, James
Hi James,
Good to hear from you again. Sorry for the late reply. Was a bit busy with work stuff.
Anyway, SP Setia has been the number 1 developer in Malaysia to date. Their developments are really well set up. SetiaEco is not bad at all. I heard that it will be one of the greenest development in Johor. So if you’re into lakes, gardens, etc, SetiaEco will be a wise choice. Another development that is by far the most expensive & very well develop is East Ledang in Nusajaya by UEM Land. FYI I work for UEM Land & i’ve seen the houses myself. If I have the money I will definitely buy a house in East Ledang. The houses are really2 pretty in terms of make & workmanship. The gardens & landscape are well taken care off too. Price wise is from RM800K above. You might want to see them yourself. Then you can tell which is better for you & your family. If you need more info just let me know. I will be glad to help.
Best Regards,
RaDZiFaSHa
Hi RaDZiFaSHa,
I was busy looking for house for the past many months and finally settled for Setia Eco brought it at RM351K as my wife really like “green”. Saw several development but some out of budget esp East Ledang. And next, would you mind share with your house renovator ID contact and estimated cost (metal grill whole house, cornices, electrical work, air-con, kitchen cabinet etc). From your taken photographs , the design &workmanship seem very good. Possible to send to my email address admiral678@yahoo.com If convenient, kindly share with your lightings, bathroom accessories address & contact, I really need it. Thank you so much.
Best regards, James
Hi James,
Glad to know that you have finally found your dream home… great! SetiaEco is not bad at all… I’m sure you’re gonna love the development… Sure I don’t mind sharing.. I will email you on the details of the contractor… etc…

Salam Jamari,
Congratulations on your new home. Nusa Idaman Courtyard House? That’s a great choice! Value for money. For ID, I can suggest you Dewani. They are really professional in terms of consultations & workmanship. They won’t squeeze your wallet like some contractors I know. Try checking out their website at http://www.dwani-id.com. You can call them at +6072391828 (Taman Tampoi Indah branch). Try looking for a consultant named Razif, that’s if he’s still working there. He’s a young talented guy. He’ll sure give you a good advice.

Thanks Izad&Lynn,
We love our house so much in Pulai Indah. A peaceful neighborhood to stay even though it’s really, really far from the town area. Been planning to beautify our lawn, insyaAllah to transform it into a beautiful mini-garden. Looking through some ideas & themes from the Internet. Hopefully the project will kick-off around March.
So, you’re eying on Mont Callista, Laguna & Nusa Idaman? Those are very beautiful development themselves. I’ve seen the spacious house in Laguna, build up for that type of development is simply amazing. They really pushed it up a notch. Developments around the area is a bit crampy though, but if you don’t mind what’s happening around the area then, everything’s good!
I haven’t been to Mont Callinta myself, heard about the houses so I can’t tell much. Sorry yea.
Nusa Idaman, for me is a bit over priced for it’s type of development. But you need to remember you’re not just buying the house, you’re buying the developments that came with the development of the houses. I have talked about the developments around Iskandar & I guess I should not bored you with the infos again.
How about East Ledang? Have you considered on the houses in East Ledang? New phases are going to be launched probably around April, I guess you should have a look.
On Pusat Pendidikan Hidayah Johor Bahru, my bosses En Mahzan & En Samsudin both sends their children to this school. All of their children!
I only hear great things about this school. Holistic approach of teaching. The unique thing about this school is they teach Islamic teachings too in their curriculum. A relief to a lot of parents out there. This institute is not funded by the government, so school fees is a bit high. You can have a look at their official website at http://www.hidayah.edu.my.
Hope to hear from you soon!
